Winter Retreat Set

Our annual Winter Retreat will take place January 13-16.  To make it more available to everyone we will again be having it in house.  We will gather at the church at 5 pm and spend the next 2 days there together growing in Christ and together.   The retreat will be have a little different look as a part of the event will actually be some planning time for ministry.  It will all tie together with the theme of “The Rest of the Story”.  It will be an exciting time of looking at God’s plan for us, how He has prepared us and tooled us and then setting direction for ourselves as a group and individually.  Cost will be $20 for the entire weekend.   We will wrap up around 2 pm on Sunday afternoon.  Make plans now to be a part.

YOUTH BAKE SALE

With the holidays behind us we will start back up our bake sales.  January 11th will be our next sale.  Mark the date so you can put some of your favorites out.  Bring your stuff that morning and then we will set up and make sales immediately following church.  We need as many people as possible to bring stuff so we can have a great sale.

Looking Ahead!

Plans are in place to again cater the UMM Valentine Dinner.  We need everyone to make this happen.

February Road Trip in the works for February 21st.  Watch for details

Mexico Mission Trip—Two important dates.  March 7th dinner to support trip.  Trip will be March 13-19. 

Finally, be watching for our newest ministry that we are planning now.  On the Winter Retreat final details will be put in place so join us and help us make this high energy time come into being.

Ministry Opportunities  

A couple of upcoming opportunities for ministry are available to everyone.  

Media Ministry—Every Sunday morning during worship. 

We are looking for a few new people to learn the system.  Training will take place on the job.  If you are interested see Pat. 

Ministry Team—This team is looking at ways to be in ministry through various forms such as drama, readings, art, etc.  They are working on a project right now and if you are interested talk to Kaycie Ragsdale.   

	Wake Up Call Wednesdays  5:45—8:00 pm
The past few weeks have been great as we have gathered in Christian fellowship and grown together in Christ.  If you haven't been lately, you have missed great door prizes, The Impossible Shot and much more.  During December our Bible Study time will be called “The Making of the Christmas  Story.”	It will help us step into the age old story in a contemporary way and see how it ties to our lives.  Drop by every  Wednesday at 5:15 for Snack Supper.  We kick off upstairs at 5:45 pm sharp.  See You On Wednesdays!
